Radiation = sick!
Mom is giving David a break as full-time caregiver. My poor tummy is having a rough go of it and I feel pretty sick. The silver lining, though, is that throwing up doesn’t hurt. I thought my so recently re-attached muscles would scream eveey time but so far they don’t seem to mind.
I just have to do it.
Miss you. Love you.
Clare, My heart goes out to you. This sure doesn’t seem fair at all. Silver linings are few and far between I expect for you – however, that husband of yours sounds like one of those as do your family and friends.
Thanks for your blog. Not always an easy read for me as I see that little curly haired girl on Grim Street and somehow this shouldn’t be happening to her.
Much love always.
Clare, I’ve been working on something for you since I came back from Thailand & it’s almost done. I’m hoping I’ll finish & be able to mail it to you by next weekend. May you love it as much as I’ve loved making it for you. I only ask that you send me a photo of you with it:) Did I take your mind off of radiation for a few seconds & prickled your curiosity? Now, you have something else to think about:) I’ll email you when I’ve sent the package off—in the meantime stay strong & brave as this too will pass (thankfully).
Clare!
Unfortunately I’m out of town until March 8th but I’m thinking of you every day and wishing you the best in your recovery! Chris and I are going to plan a trip up to see you when we get back.
With lots of love to you and the family,
Andy (and Chris)
Yuck! 😦 I hope it means that the radiation is kicking butt though! Thinking of you all lots! Go mom!
Love,
Anne
Moms and husbands are really the best. Feel as better as you can, and I am thinking of you!

Digging for GOLD: As any toddler can attest, sometimes to get to the real prize, you have to get past the slimy, yucky part first.
You’ll get through this, you resilient, amazing thing, you. In the meantime, love is flowing your way. oxo Mel and the boys (yes, that includes Michael aka man-boy)
It’s Food Day here at River City High. I can’t wait till I can share the chicken burrito with you again! Hope you are feeling great!
